Applicants to the Undergraduate Business Program are screened by the Undergraduate Business Admissions Committee.

The requirements to be eligible to apply to the School of Business are as follows:

  1. Must be admitted to Wake Forest University
  2. Must have completed 49 hours by the conclusion of the sophomore spring term
  3. Must have completed the prerequisite courses listed below (with a grade no lower than a "C") by the conclusion of the sophomore spring term. Please note that successful applicants have historically earned substantially higher grades in these prerequisites courses than the published eligbility minimum.

    or MTH 112 Calculus with Analytic Geometry II
    ACC 111Introductory Financial Accounting3

    MTH 112 is a required prerequisite course for the Decision Analytics major.

    STA 112 is a required prerequisite for the Decision Analytics major (taken in lieu of BEM 201).

Applicants who have not fully met these course requirements may still apply to the Undergraduate Business Program while these course requirements are in progress.

The number of students who can be accommodated is limited. Meeting the minimum published eligible requirements is not a guarantee of admission. Therefore, the School of Business reserves the right to deny admission or readmission to any student even though the student meets the minimum requirements. Readmission to the Undergraduate Business Program requires (a) readmission to Wake Forest University (for which requirements are provided in this Bulletin) and (b) approval by the Undergraduate Business Committee on Academic Affairs.
