Before being considered for admission to the Wake Forest University School of Business Undergraduate Business Program, an applicant must have been admitted to Wake Forest University. Applicants to the Undergraduate Business Program are screened by the Undergraduate Business Admissions Committee. Requirements for admission to the Undergraduate Business Program are as follows:

  1. Completion of 49 hours
  2. Completion of the following courses (with a grade of "C" or higher) by the conclusion of the Sophomore year:
    ECN 150Introduction to Economics3
    MTH 111Calculus with Analytic Geometry I4
    or MTH 112 Calculus with Analytic Geometry II
    ACC 111Introductory Financial Accounting3
    BEM 201Quantitative Analysis I **3

    MTH 112 for the mathematical business major.

    STA 112 for the mathematical business major.

Applicants who have not fully met these course requirements may still apply to the Undergraduate Business Program while these course requirements are in progress.

The number of students who can be accommodated is limited. Meeting the minimum requirements is not a guarantee of admission. Therefore, the School of Business reserves the right to deny admission or readmission to any student even though he or she meets the minimum requirements. Readmission to the Undergraduate Business Program requires (a) readmission to Wake Forest University (for which requirements are provided in this Bulletin) and (b) approval by the Undergraduate Business Committee on Academic Affairs.
